Time to trade Haren?

When you are looking for a player to sell high, look no further then Dan Haren. So far this season Haren is 4-4 with a 2.54 ERA, .90 WHIP and 71 Ks in 71 IP. From 2006-2008 Haren's production has dropped off each year post All-Star.

2006
1st Half ERA: 3.52
2nd Half ERA: 4.91

2007
1st Half ERA: 2.30
2nd Half ERA: 4.15

2008
1st Half ERA: 2.72
2nd Half ERA: 4.18

I would have a real hard time trading Haren away, but the numbers show that he is due to be less productive from the ASB on. You can find plenty of 4+ ERA guys on the waiver wire and Haren could land you a major player for your team.

Jordan Schafer sent Packing:
After hitting a HR in his first AB, it has been pretty slow going for the young lad. YTD Schafer is hitting .204 with 2 HR, 8 RBIs, and 2 SBs. The scaring thing about his average is it still had room to drop as he had a friendly .311 BABIP (Average is .300). He needs more time in AAA to tune his hitting skills.
