Baseball Amercia selected Sandoval as the Winter Ball Player of the Year and below is a quote from the article describing the season Sandoval had this past winter:
"Playing in winter ball for Navegantes del Magallanes, Sandoval continued lambasting opposing pitchers. In 52 games Sandoval batted .396/.449/.677 with 12 HRs. He even drew 18 walks, though 8 of them were when the opposing team decided it was betterto intentionally allow Sandoval to trot down to first base rather than allow him to inflict more damage upon thier pitchers"
This was a quote by Ben Badler from BA and I love the use of the term "lambasting"
