I was dead set on getting a catcher this round and I really wanted Montero who went 2 picks prior. I am not crazy about Teagarden but I think that his defense wil lkeep him in the MLB. The 1 negative on Montero is that his catching days seem to be limited by his build. No that is not a typo someone selected Casey Weathers with the 47th overall pick. The pick that I like the best is Tim Alderson from SF. He is only 19 but his stuff is nasty and combined with Lincecum, Cain, and Bumgarner the future looks bright for the Giants.
